Polypropylene

Polypropylene is comparable to Kimdura® brand labels. This biaxially oriented (BOPP) material is resistant to tearing, dirt, and grease, water-resistant in most applications. Recommended for applications requiring durability not found in paper labels. Able Label offers polypropylene labels with different adhesives and choices for flood color and color border labels. Thermal transfer polypropylene labels require ribbons to print.

All Temp Adhesive (TP)

Polypropylene Labels with All Temp Adhesive (TP) are converted with a 3.0 mil opaque matte white, biaxially oriented, coated thermal transfer printable polypropylene. All temp adhesive polypropylene labels are available in white, flood color, flood color with overlam, and white with color border.

• Adhesive
  • Permanent all-temperature acrylic adhesive that performs in both cold and damp environments and elevated temperature applications.
• Applications
  • Used for shelf and bin marking, parts, and inventory labeling. Recommended for short outdoor durability labeling.
• Printing
  • Use Wax/Resin (Able Label PGR or PGR-PLUS) or Resin Ribbons (Able Label SDR or SDR-A).
• Application Temp.
  • Min. Application Temp. -20°F on most surfaces, Service Temp. Ranges –65°F to +200°F.
• Shelf Life
  • The shelf life of All Temp Adhesive (TP) Labels is one year when stored at +72°F and 50% relative humidity.

Broad Temperature Adhesive (TPE)

Polypropylene Labels with Broad Temperature Adhesive (TPE) are converted with a 3.0 mil white BOPP coated thermal transfer printable polypropylene. These labels are priced competitively while providing superior performance. Perfect for wine labeling, as it can withstand ice bucket conditions.

  • Permanent all-temperature acrylic adhesive that performs in both cold and damp environments and elevated temperature applications.
• Applications
  • Used for shelf and bin marking, parts, and inventory labeling. Recommended for short outdoor durability labeling.

Acrylic Adhesive (TP9501)

Polypropylene Labels with Acrylic Adhesive (TP9501) are converted with a 3.0 mil opaque matte white, biaxially oriented, coated thermal transfer printable polypropylene.

• Adhesive
  • Permanent adhesive with aggressive initial tack, excellent ultimate adhesion, and mandrel hold.
  • Excellent adhesion to corrugated, glass, and various plastic substrates.
  • Considered latex glove friendly.
• Applications
  • Used in healthcare and medical industry, patient records, prescription labeling, laboratory, and specimen labels.
• Printing
  • Use Wax/Resin (Able Label PGR or PGR-PLUS) or Resin Ribbons (Able Label SDR or SDR-A).
• Application Temp.

DURA (TP-DURA)

Polypropylene DURA Labels (TP-DURA) are converted with a 3.0 mil opaque matte white, biaxially oriented, coated thermal transfer printable polypropylene.

• Adhesive
  • Permanent adhesive with excellent tack and ultimate adhesive to a variety of surfaces, including polystyrene, polypropylene, polyethylene, paper, and corrugate.
  • Suitable for cold, damp labeling applications.
• Applications
  • Used for barcode, product identification, and information labels. Labeling needs in equipment, machinery, stone, and marble industries.
• Printing
  • Use Wax/Resin (Able Label PGR or PGR-PLUS) or Resin Ribbons (Able Label SDR or SDR-A).

Removable Adhesive Polypropylene Labels (TP-R) are converted with a 3.0 mil opaque matte white, biaxially oriented, coated thermal transfer printable polypropylene.

Kimdura® Removable (TPKIM-R)

Kimdura BOPP Polypropylene Labels with removable adhesive are converted with a 4.2 mil white, biaxially oriented, and coated thermal transfer printable polypropylene material.

• Adhesive
  • A moderate-to-tight acrylic removable adhesive.
• Applications
  • Recommended applications with porous and rough surfaces, such as woodworking and other manufacturing industries. Suitable for indirect food contact applications.
• Printing
